Linux for Beginners Part 1 (Navigating the File Structure, Creating/Removing Folders)

In this video tutorial, we are going to show you how to use Command Line On Linux Operating System.

  • How to navigate through the file structure, moving from folder to folder.
  • You will also learn how to create and delete folders, files.

For this type of project, you will need to install and run the Linux OS of any version that you like.

In our case, we will be using a Raspberry PI 3 as a Linux source, since it’s much easier to connect to it than just run a virtual machine on your main OS if you do not use Linux as your primary OS.

What you need for this project:

  1. A computer on which Linux is installed.

Note: In this project, we are not going to explain how to use the Putty software to connect to your Raspberry Pi. In case you are using a Raspberry Pi as we are and want to connect to it remotely then you need to set a static Ip address onto your Raspberry Pi.
